Currently Reading : The Good Fairies of New York - Martin Miller
The read-a-thon is going well so far but I am getting less and less time for reading each hour somehow. I gained Merlin as well as Morgaine, but both fled when I got to up to make this post. The Good Fairies is an awesom book and I am really enjoying it so far. Highly recommended. Sad, funny and entertaining all at once. I hope everyone else is having as much fun as I am :)

So, is the fairy book a novel or a study of fairies? Can you give a quickie summary of what it's about?
I'm the opposite of you. I'm reading faster. Probably because I started off with a book that was a bit difficult.

My sister asked me about this book--she loves Fairies in all forms and wanted to know if the book was actually ABOUT Fairies (I'm her card catalog--better then the library my family tells me), so I'll be interested when all is said and done for you about your impressions!

I'll have more time to spend each hour on reading as the day (particularly the evening) wears on. At this point I'm not even letting the family in on the fact that a marathon reading session is in progress!

158 pages is great! I am going to try to read smaller chunks now, and see if that helps increase my pages per hour.

I am really tempted to go to Chick-fil-a before breakfast ends to get a biscuit but I think I will make do here at home so I can get more pages read. The internet can be quite distracting. :)

The read-a-thon is going well so far but I am getting less and less time for reading each hour somehow.The same thing happened to me last time. I found myself reading other peoples' updates instead of hunkering down with my book. It was fun, but I didn't read nearly as much as I expected to. :)
