Booking Through Thursday

Volume

Would you say that you read about the same amount now as when you were younger? More? Less? Why?

I probably read about the same or slightly more than when I was younger. I have always been a book worm and I go through phases when I read lots extra which is again something I have always done. Reading has always been a passion of mine and I am so glad my husband shares it with me and we can read together. If I had more time I would read all day every day!

The photo above is of our new sofa with both cats enjoying it. It shows how much bigger Merlin is than Morgaine even though they are brother and sister from the same litter!

Hi Rhinoa! I agree with you about reading all day if we have the chance!!!

BTW, I love the pic of Merlin & Morgaine!

I love it when I can devote an entire day to reading. :-) I cannot really say if my reading volume has increased or decreased over the years, but I do know that my TBR collection has certainly grown by leaps and bounds!

I'm a real bookworm too! Lovely photo of your cats!

Hello, Rhinoa. Love the names of your cats. Always nice to get new furniture. Good for you.

I definitely read more now than I used to. I didn't read much as a kid.

You asked what de Lint books I've read. Only two: Little Country and Dreams Underfoot. I really liked them and want to read lots more.

I've always read a lot too. Sometimes I have phases when I read less, but they never last more than a few months.

Merlin really is a lot bigger! My only female cat is also much smaller than the boys. I wonder if it's always like that.

Hello to you and your two cats! If there's a job called "Book Reader" and all I have to do is read like there's no tomorrow and get paid for it, I'm IN! LOL.

Happy BTT!

I was wondering about the difference in size of the two cats -- they are from the same litter? Really?

Rhinoa said...

Dark Orpheus - Yes I know it's crazy! Merlin is sitting a little nearer the camera so he looks a little bigger, but he is a bit of a beast and Morgaine is pretty tiny. He's a neutered tom cat so doesn't really do a lot besides eat and sleep whereas she is a bit more of a terror and was the runt of the litter.

oh! merlin is gorgeous! does he sit on laps? is he cuddly (or does he accept strokes, at least...?)

Rhinoa said...

Jean Pierre - Yes they are both very friendly and cuddly. Merlin tends to sit next to you and roll onto his back for stroking and love. Morgaine sleeps on top of me and generally uses me as a cat playground.

oh wow! that sounds so nice! and merlin's coat looks so soft too!

they look the perfect reading companions - that is when they allow you to read...! :)
