This is another piece I started last year and then put to one side. I finished it this morning as all I had left to do was the black outline. It needed to be done in natural light as it was impossible to see otherwise! It has more French knots which I think look ok.

I am keeping this one and will put it up once it has been framed. It took such a long time to do as it was really intricate.

Very nice! I don't have the patience or the energy to do something like that!

Oh, I love that cross stitch. I look at it at the store ALL the time, but I don't know if I have the patience to do them. Actually, normally I buy them and bribe my mother into doing them for me, but she said no to this one after completing the Titanic. She doesn't like the dark backgrounds, so I will just keep looking at it and maybe one day do it. That being said, my mother has two cross stitches I really liked. One has kittens and bookshelves and the other is Beatrix Potter. No idea when I will see the completed projects, but I have them to look forward to.

Marg it's not too bad once you get started. It's fun to see the design grow on the material and fill in the colours one by one.

Kailana your mum is great for doing it for you! I have some lovely Flower Fairy designs to do at some point if you like Beatrix Potter.

I started a Care Bear design today of Bedtime Bear that says Sweet Dreams. It will hopefully be a gift when Alex's cousin gives birth in a couple of months.

This is beautiful. I have not done any cross stitch since starting my scrapbooking a couple of years ago, but have so many pieces on the go! I may have to get back to them.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! I have so many cross-stitch projects I've started, and just never finished. Where do you find the time??
